Jane Mudgett is joined by London-based Andy Wilkins, the Founder of Future of Health. Andy shares his experience as a strategist and customer experience consultant by asking,
~ “How do we create human-based systems in a world of innovative technology and still retain the dignity of our employees?”
~ “How do we convert the machine of making products and services into people authentically serving other people?”
In our post-industrial age, we have focused on process, automation, efficiency and output, often to the detriment and objectification of our own employees and customers. This economic history focusing on return on investment has forced leaders to move away from human-based systems. It’s time now for progressive leaders to be fluent with the idea of psychology and what allows us to work in a world of uncertainty. It means co-creating with employees and teams. It means teaching, modeling and creating a culture of resiliency to allow for change without being seduced by the newness of it. It means collaborating and exploring new ideas, without exploiting and “correcting” (read: admonish) contributors.
Join us as we discuss how leadership can be productive in an uncertain world by co-creating the work and customer experiences.
