I was one of the lucky kids with books in my home. There was the encyclopedia, but also kids books, thanks to my two older brothers. Also, the library was a staple in our life – either at school or the public library.
Back in the day, no telling what physical position I’d be in when I read a book – right side up, upside down, feet up, laying on my stomach reading to toys and dolls, outside or inside. I was by no means a book worm, but it did create a foundation of reading that I’m still grateful for – even if I go through phases, an ebb and flow, of my reading voracity. Furthermore, my reading positions are mostly limited to sitting, although the exact locations may vary.
Might I suggest that you pick up Five Alive: Revitalize your life One Small Change at a Time? Get comfortable, find a comfy seat, turn on the reading light and enjoy. You might even want a cup of tea or coffee, a glass of wine or water – keep them close by. I hope you can “hear” my voice in the book as I wanted it to be both easy to read and thought-provoking. I hope you learn some new ideas and jot down a few small improvement goals. Cheers and enjoy!
PS While you’re at it, would you post a picture of yourself with the book?
